Rachel Smith Training Consultant Manager

Rachel has a vast range of experience within HealthWORKS including project managing the Hearty Lives Programme, Co-ordinating the Physical Activity and working as an Operations Manager. She is a qualified Trainer and Assessor and has taught on the City and Guilds ‘Health Trainer’ qualification, the One Awards ‘Helping People Make Healthier Choices’ course, as well as designing and delivering training in ‘Diabetes Awareness’ and ‘Customer Service’


Bridget Woodhead Training Consultant
Over the past 12 years Bridget has worked predominantly in Health and Social care.She has worked with services for clients with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental ill health and people with a learning disability.

Bridget is HealthWORKS Newcastle’s Internal Verifier, as well as coordinating and facilitating Working with Diversity, MHFA & YMHFA training. Congratulations to Bridget Woodhead who was recognised at the annual Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England awards ceremony on 26 January 2012 at the House of Lords


Jenny Trett

Jenny Trett Training Consultant

Jenny’s background as a trainer/assessor has seen her deliver a wide range of training and qualifications such as customer service, retail, retail management and business administration.
Jenny joined the HealthWORKS team in July 2012 as a Breastfeeding Peer Support Coordinator, specialising in training breastfeeding peer support volunteers and has since moved into the Learning and Development team to continue her breastfeeding training. She is also involved in projects such as ‘Living Well, Taking Control’ which helps people to prevent or manage type 2 diabetes
