Postural Stability Instructor

 

Join our team at HealthWORKS Newcastle! We’re a charity based in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our aim is to help people improve their health and wellbeing, whatever their age, health problems, ability or background.

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Postural Stability Instructor to join our Physical Activity Team.

 

You’ll be supporting clients referred into our falls prevention service. The service aims to reduce their risk of falling and to help them achieve better health though specifically designed physical activity sessions.

 

Details:

  • 15 hours per week
  • Grade 5, pay point 14 (£17,733 per annum pro rata).
  • Central base: Community gyms at The Lemington Centre and The Health Resource Centre in Benwell, with outreach at venues across the city.
  • Fixed term to 31 March 2019 with annual review.
  • Completed applications to be received by midday on Friday 13 October 2017.
  • Interviews to be held on Wednesday 25 October 2017.

 

If you hold the Postural Stability Instructor (REPS Level 4) qualification, with at least 6 months post qualification experience and are passionate about helping people to better health then we would like to hear from you!
