Our team was out promoting the key messages of ‘Eat well, Move more, Live longer’ with a bright stall on Newcastle’s Quayside , Saturday 27 July 2013, encouraging many families to sign up to receive free resources from the national campaign’s website

Councillor Marion Talbot -Chair, Newcastle Cycling Forum emailed to say” I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the contribution you and your organisation made to making the NewcastleGateshead sky ride such a success. As you may know, 7,800 people took part in the ride, which is a fantastic achievement.
The experience was enhanced by the number of stalls, exhibitions, activities, information etc which were available on the day and much of this was provided by people like you, many of them volunteers, who generously gave up their time to support the event. I spoke to many of the participants during the course of the day and they were delighted by the event, and spoke highly of the range of stalls and information available on the quayside and by the Cycle Hub. Many people wanted to know the date of next year’s ride , so they could put it in their diary now!” If you are interested in knowing more about how we are trying to improve cycling in the city, you can sign up for their e newsletter at Thanks once again.”
