Community Health Trainers

  • getting active
  • stopping smoking
  • drinking less alcohol
  • eating more healthily
  • improving general wellbeing

Our team undergoes a range of training including a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification, developed nationally especially for health trainers, enabling them to understand first-hand concerns within their communities.

What Health Trainer Service users say:

My health trainer has always been there for me. He has been very supportive. He has given all the information on my training and all of the other activities that there are to do. If I want to do I can always get in touch with him at any time. If I had a problem he will always try to help.

My trainer has met with me regularly over the last few weeks to discuss my weight and other personal issues; talking to her, getting her advice and having her listen to me has been very helpful and I have noticed an improvement in my mood and a shift in my focus to lose weight.
